Sage and lillies

My favorite color of sage, with my birthday lily from Nakisa, which has come back strong 2 years in a row. In our front garden.

Ballons in the process of being inflated.

Notice the coleus...two plants survived after keeping them in my window all winter long. I did have to trim them almost back to nothing though, after they nearly wilted away when I first transplanted them.
Conclusion: Overwintering is NOT worth it for coleus!

Gaura

I like the way it looks like the blooms are floating in the air.

Broccoli

Experimenting with a new vegetable this year. I didn't plant it from seed, and that sure seems to make a big difference! If only I had a greenhouse...

Echinacea

Getting ready to take center stage...

The tall blooms of delphinium have been replaced by this.

Clematis

Looks pretty even after it's done blooming!

garden in early June

Guardian of the strawberry patch.

Daisies 'on the verge'.

The delphiniums are GIGANTIC this year. I love it, but I need to find a way of supporting them better.

Things are growing; sprouting, flourishing, blossoming, withering, beginning and ending... it's the story of a garden.
